More of the same, did a bunch of similar sketches at work today, so it felt natural to continue the theme. This one is more in the “graffiti” style that I draw in sometimes…. angled for drama.
Still no theme for Friday, I’m open to suggestions.
I’m trying to come up with daily themes for the illustration lottery, giving myself a clever (cliché) out for “Throwback Thursday” …more info to come later, maybe… anyway… here’s an old astronaut sketch circa 2011. Friday doesn’t have a theme yet, but maybe tomorrow we’ll see what evolves…
Today I will lie to myself and say that “I will bring back the daily illustration.” It’s been a while, but perhaps it is time… laziness is my only excuse.
Well, it’s been a grueling couple of months. Lots of stress and close calls. I’m happy to say, that I didn’t miss any deadlines while working with a partial arsenal of tools… and have come through with some newer perspective. Here’s what’s been up…
To replace the old broken juggernaut. It paid for itself 10 times over, but will be sorely missed. I think I may go on ebay once I get the scratch and pick up another broken one to use for parts in its resurrection. There was a lot about that old computer that I loved. Plus it had my favorite versions of iLife for writing songs & making stop motion painting videos.
What is Lonely
I had to put this on hold for a bit. Hans has been really busy with his life lately, as have I… which brings me to my next topic:
I got a new job (starting in about a week) as the newest sign maker at the Whole Foods in Portland, ME. It’s been a while, but I’m really excited to get back into the swing of having a designer day job.
“You thought you’d gotten rid of us old bean, but we’re back… with a vengeance.” Let’s pick up where we left off, shall we?
You usually don’t see it, but here’s something I can destroy… maybe I’ll continue to post the future of this sheet of paper.
