Here we have 5 NEW fonts, let’s call it an experiment in terror, shall we? 

1. Flexograph – Inspired by flexography printing on corrugated cardboard, Flexograph is all caps and no crap.    
2. Grase – People tend to like it when I get a little wild with my typefaces, and Grase is wild. Jagged like electricity, and quite a variation between thicks and thins will have all your graphic designer friends cringing. It definitely has its place though, not exactly grindcore, but titles nice and legibly.
3. Grindhouse Revenge – Originally called Revenge of the Shoes. Grindhouse Revenge is perfect for classic body copy. Think DVD synopsis for an Al Adamson or Herschell Gordon Lewis release. The tasteful ligatures and barely defined baseline give it a nice handmade feel, while the thick textured letters allow it the versatility to work as a title.  Winner of the 2020, 31 Days of Horror Fonts 
4. Blastatic! – Loaded with ligatures, and clean as a mid-century monster flick. Blastatic! has a unique versatility that conjures up images of Jazz Albums, Godzilla Movies and Hot Rod Magazines. Saul Bass fans take note, this shit’ll give you vertigo.
5. Enchanted Chainsaws – Conceived during 31 Days of Horror Fonts 2019, Enchanted Chainsaws is reminiscent of horror comic titling from the early 1950’s. Come to think of it, the initials are a bit familiar, speaking of classic horror tales… not to be cryptic.

Why would you do this style of prerelease, wouldn’t it make more sense to put these out individually?

I’ve been working on a lot of fonts lately, and that is really fun. You know what the opposite of really fun is? Sucks. Just like Count Dracula and vacuums. In order to release a font, there’s a part of the process that I usually get hung up on. Writing, and mock-ups and title cards (oh my!) That is the trinity of Count Dracula for font making… and Drive-In of Death is my garlic.
